Drainage Soakaways
A soakaway consists of a hole dug into the ground, which is then filled with a permeable material such as rubble, concrete or polyethylene. This combination allows rainwater to make its way back into the earth, reducing the risk of flooding and avoiding surface erosion. A soakaway temporarily stores the immediate excess water, giving it suitable time to permeate into the adjacent soil.
Fineline Block Paving has years of experience creating soakaways, both as part of driveway installations and as standalone projects.
